Week One
The Layout of the Wheel
We learn how the astrology natal chart is constructed. We discuss the twelve houses and the rising sign as important elements in our understanding of natal astrology
The four natural elements, Fire, Air, Water and Earth play a big part in our learning and we begin looking at how the elements are connected to the signs and the houses.
Week Two
Beginning the Table of the Signs and Houses
We learn the first six signs and their houses. Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo and Virgo are the signs for the week. We discuss the positives and negatives of each sign. The meanings of the first six houses and the ruling planets are also included.
Week Three
Finish the Table of the Signs and Houses
We learn the second six signs and their houses. Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces are the signs for the week. We discuss the positives and negatives of each sign. The meanings of the second six houses and ruling planets are included.
Week Four
The Planets are Highlighted.
Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. All the planets and their basic meanings used in interpretation. An introduction to the aspects is also started.
Week Five
Starting to Put it All Together
We learn how a planet in a sign in a house works to create interpretation and prediction. We follow a basic set of reading rules that let us learn how to start reading a chart and begin to tell the story of our charts or the chart of someone else.
We finish the aspects. We discuss retrograde motion.
Week Six
We Learn Prediction
We learn how to apply the current positions of the planets to a natal chart and make a prediction for a future outcome. We review the basics of natal chart reading from Week 5, and we finish the class with examples and current events charts that help us understand what we have learned.
